We are delighted to welcome you to Zion Church.  Our children’s ministry staff and our servant-volunteers would like to acquaint you with the various ministries that are available.

Your child is very important to us.  Each one is a gift from God and each one is treasured here at Zion.  Therefore, Zion Church has taken steps to ensure your child’s safety. We are a “safe sanctuary” congregation.  Our staff and servant-volunteers are screened, trained and exceptionally able to serve in our ministries. 

Our desire is that you and your child grow in wisdom, stature and in favor with God (Luke 2:52).

Christian Education

 Christian Education is from 9:30-10:30AM on Sunday mornings.

Children’s Church (during 10:45 Worship)

Children (ages 3-2nd grade) are dismissed after the children's message for fun children’s lessons and activities.

Other Ministries

Children’s Fellowship  This fellowship group is for third through sixth graders. They meet the second Sunday of the month during the school year. 

Zion Kidz  in the CLC  Kids love to run!  So, we do!  We meet the third Sunday of every month.  Bring a bagged lunch to enjoy after the last service and then stay and play games in the CLC until 2 PM.  We  offer organized active games as well as board games.  We  also provide snacks.  This activity is for kindergarten through second grades.

Kid's Fellowhship  This is for children in grades 3-6.  We meet the second Sunday of each month from 6:30-8:00 PM.  Join us for movies, games and much more.

Travelin’ Tuesdays  Kids get bored during the summer so on Tuesdays we go on trips to various locations.  These trips are for children in 1st-6th grade. The summer schedule will be posted in late spring. 

Parenting Events  We want to help nurture the whole family. Classes and workshops designed to focus on parenting are available throughout the year. 

Children’s Music Ministry

Children’s Choir: Children in grades 1-6 meet on Sunday Mornings from 9:15-9:45 in the music suite.  This choir signs  in our Sunday morning services. 

Cherub Choir: Children ages 3-kindergarten practice each Wednesday from 6:00-6:20 PM  and Sunday mornings 9:30-9:45 am in room 100.  Children in this age group practice performance numbers as well as other fun Sunday School songs.  The children do not need to practice on both Wednesday and Sunday.  One or the other is ok. 

The Master’s Studio (WAZ)

Our Wednesday evening ministry is for ages 3-grade 6. 

Children ages 3 years through 1st grade learn Bible stories through fun and energy-filled activities.  These children meet in room 202 & 203 from 6:20-7:30PM.

Children in 2nd through 6th grades meet in the downstairs daycare room from 6:00-7:30 for various, Christian, performing arts activities; including clowning, puppeteering, dancing, drama and juggling, as well as Bible lessons.
